Hiring around the world

Hong Kong

Sullivan & Cromwell has been actively involved in transactions in Asia for many decades, and opened its Hong Kong office in 1992 to better serve its clients. S&C conducts a wide-ranging corporate practice from Hong Kong that stretches across Asia ex-Japan, including cross-border mergers & acquisitions, securities offerings and listings, private equity and principal investment transactions, leveraged and other debt financing, as well as restructurings and workouts. In recent years, the Hong Kong office has been very active advising on a broad range of transactions in the financial institutions, energy and natural resources, telecommunications, media and technology sectors.

The Hong Kong office is interested in hiring U.S.-trained practicing lawyers who have one to three years of experience in one or more of the following areas: securities, mergers & acquisitions, private equity or project finance. Mandarin or Korean language capability would be highly desirable, but not essential. Applicants for associate positions must have a U.S. J.D. or a U.S. LL.M. degree.

Some summer associates will have the opportunity to work in this office for a period of four weeks each.

Hiring for this office is coordinated out of the New York office. To submit an application to the Hong Kong office, please see How to Apply.
